The first week was mainly introduction of the of the course during which one of the course lecturers discussed the main focus of this course MPPP1403. That is to provide exposure and experience to students on current trend of innovative learning environments (ILE). At the end of the semester, students will acquire and demonstrate understanding on new concepts and skills associated with the new innovation of teaching and learning through a different types of of technology and instructional pedagogy that suits the new reality of a technology driven environment.
The lecturer explained that the course will specifically focus on emerging trends in digital learning environment, assessing effective digital communications technologies and integration of such technologies into Innovative Learning Environment, basic instructional design principles as applied to the design and facilitation. while students will be actively engaged in carrying project on design and development of certain concepts to be delivered in an innovative learning environment
